Kyle Turner

Head Teacher - Si Saket

Hello. My name is Kyle Turner. I grew up in Kansas (USA), where I studied Finance & Accounting at University. Once I received my BBA, I spent a couple of years working as a Financial Analyst, before moving to Thailand in 2013.

Soon after arriving in Thailand, I was fortunate enough to get a job with Sine. I first taught in Pathum Thani (for two and a half years), and then transferred to teach in Khukhan, Sisaket.

Part of what appealed to me about moving to Thailand were my experiences when I had visited the country on two previous occasions. I got the impression that (despite being an outsider here) the overall environment was more relaxed and inviting than most of the places I'd lived and in worked before. In the time that I’ve been working in Thailand, I’ve found those initial assumptions to mostly be true, and that is one of the major reasons I hope to make Thailand my permanent home, with no plans on returning back to America any time soon.

Shane Terlosky

Head Teacher - Saraburi Wittayakom

Hello. I am Shane Terlosky and I presently teach at Sarburi School in the Saraburi Province, Thailand.

I am from the USA and this is my second year with Sine. My wife and I have resided in Saraburi, Thailand for two years now. I have a vested interest in staying in Thailand indefinitely. I am very eager and enthused to be living and teaching as a guest in this great country. Schooling includes having earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business as well as being TEFL certified. Some of my hobbies include running, playing chess, and learning about history and archeology. I consider myself to be approachable, fun, understanding, motivating, and patient.

Kagiso Dikgomo

Head Teacher - Bueng Kan

My name is Kagiso Dikgomo and I'm from South Africa. I’ve been in Thailand and working for Sine since July 2016, based at Buengkhan School in the north east of Thailand. I studied Biokinetics aka clinical exercise science…unsurprisingly I am an exercise bunny (mostly haha).

There are a lot of things I like about Thailand, including the awesome warm weather, great food variety and general laidback vibe. The SINE teaching team in Buengkhan is great. The Thai teachers and students at the school are welcoming and friendly...hardly a dull moment in class!

Matthew Owens

Head Teacher - Nakhon Pathom

My name is Matthew Owens, I am 27 years old and I come from South Africa. I have been in Thailand since July 21st and have been working for SINE since then. I am the Head Teacher at Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom in Salaya.

Before coming to Thailand I ran a physical rehabilitation clinic.
I have a B.Sc in Consumer Sciences with tourism management.

I have run yoghurt bars and managed Tattoo shops but right now I’m living my dream of teaching in Thailand and hope to have many happy years with SINE.

Kai David Mark Williams

Head Teacher - Pathumthani

My name is Kai David Mark Williams.

I have lived and worked in Thailand for 6 years. I have worked as an English teacher for SINE Education for 3 years. I currently work, with SINE, as an English teacher/Head teacher at Thammasart Klong Luang Wittayakom School in Pathumthani. I studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a Master degree in translation at the University of Hull. I enjoy living in Thailand because it has a warm climate and life here is laid back. I enjoy cooking and watching movies. I also enjoy making educational Powerpoints, including some amazing Powerpoint games. My favourite Thai food is ลาบไก่ใ.

Colin Bass

Head Teacher - Khon Kaen

I’m Col, I’m from London, England. I’ve been living in Thailand for 11 years and working for Sine for 2 years up in sunny Kranuan. I’ve been the lead teacher for about a year now. I’m married and have two great kids. My son attends the school that I teach at!!

Before taking the leap into teaching I served as an infantryman for 18 years in the British Army, I had the honour of being a body guard for HM Queen Elizabeth as well as working in numerous and varied countries. Of all the countries I’ve worked in, I’d have to say Thailand ranks top of the list. The people, the culture, the food and more importantly the hot weather make this an awesome place to work. Sri Kranuan school is such a friendly place, the students are so respectful and the teachers encourage us to take part in all the fun activities.

My food tastes change all the time… I used to have cravings for dry noodles and red pork, but right now my favourite food is Khao Man Gai with a fried egg plonked on top!!

Callie Wright

Head Teacher - Bangkok

Hi, I'm Callie Wright. I'm a 25-year-old Atlanta native living in Bangkok, where I teach at Satri Wat Rakhang, an all-girls school on the Chao Phraya River. I started working for SINE in late November of 2016 shortly after arriving in Thailand on Halloween of that year.

I vastly prefer Thailand to America—the food is tastier, the people are friendlier, and in the morning when I look out the window of my classroom, I see the sun rise over the Grand Palace.

Fun facts: I have performed in a string orchestra at Carnegie Hall, I cry when eating spicy food, and have three degrees of separation between myself and actor Kevin Bacon.
