Bee Quach
Head Teacher - Pathumthani
Hi, I'm Bee. I'm from Australia, and I enjoy introducing students to the lesser-known-but-just-as-cuddly-as-a-koala wombat. I have a background in traditional medicine, so people at the office will sometimes ask about the concoctions I might be drinking. I've also done some IT and a dab of optometry. Teaching has been my calling, and now I'm finally doing it in Thailand.
Like a nomad, I did teaching stints at various schools for a few years, including 1 year with SINE. Eventually, it was time to settle down, so I came back to SINE and was offered a position at my current school. It's been a great combination where the students and I get to learn and share ideas through the SINE program within a relaxing environment. The school has been welcoming to foreign teachers for the most part, and the teachers and staff here are mostly chill chill. The Foreign Languages Department likes to give free food, and they enjoy dressing me up.
PathumThani is just outside the bustle of Bangkok, yet convenient enough to drop into the city when I want to. And SINE allows me enough free time outside of work to do so. All in all, it's a sweet life.
Kyle Turner
Head Teacher - Si Saket
Hello. My name is Kyle Turner. I grew up in Kansas (USA), where I studied Finance & Accounting at University. Once I received my BBA, I spent a couple of years working as a Financial Analyst, before moving to Thailand in 2013.
Soon after arriving in Thailand, I was fortunate enough to get a job with Sine. I first taught in Pathum Thani (for two and a half years), and then transferred to teach in Khukhan, Sisaket.
Part of what appealed to me about moving to Thailand were my experiences when I had visited the country on two previous occasions. I got the impression that (despite being an outsider here) the overall environment was more relaxed and inviting than most of the places I'd lived and in worked before. In the time that I’ve been working in Thailand, I’ve found those initial assumptions to mostly be true, and that is one of the major reasons I hope to make Thailand my permanent home, with no plans on returning back to America any time soon.

I have lived and worked in Thailand for 6 years. I have worked as an English teacher for SINE Education for 3 years. I currently work, with SINE, as an English teacher/Head teacher at Thammasart Klong Luang Wittayakom School in Pathumthani. I studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a Master degree in translation at the University of Hull. I enjoy living in Thailand because it has a warm climate and life here is laid back. I enjoy cooking and watching movies. I also enjoy making educational Powerpoints, including some amazing Powerpoint games. My favourite Thai food is ลาบไก่ใ.
Lourens Scheepers
Head Teacher - Mahasarakham
Hello, I'm Lourens from South Africa, where I worked for many years for a company that produced enzymes used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. My work took me all over the world, including Thailand, where the idea came to me that I might one day live there. I love travelling and I enjoy learning about history and natural health.
With Sine Education I saw the opportunity to move to Thailand. I thought that I would only stay for one year and then move on. However, two years later and I'm still here in Thailand with no intentions of leaving any time soon! The friendliness of the Thai people, together with their culture, humility and their tolerance for others has been a real eye opener - making me realise that there's more to life than just money and status. Thailand's great food, wonderful tropical climate and the sense of freedom I experience living here makes it clear why I've fallen in love with this country.
I live and work in Mahasarakham in North Eastern Thailand. This region, also known as Isaan is particularly renowned for the friendliness of the people and this is reflected in the good nature of the students which makes teaching here a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
